Weber School District will be providing hearing screenings at Midland Elementary on Tuesday, March 10, 2015, during school hours.
The following students will be screened:
•All students in kindergarten
•All students in first grade
•Students new to the district
•Students needing reevaluations for special education services
•Students who the teachers suspect might have a hearing loss
A hearing screening is not an in-depth hearing evaluation. If a concern is noted about your child's hearing, you will be notified and advised as to the need for a more comprehensive evaluation.
If you DO NOT wish to have your child's hearing screened, please send a written denial notice to the school.

The education process requires continuous instruction, class participation, and study. Frequent absences from class disrupt this instructional process. Success in school is dependent upon good attendance. All the schools that send students to Roy High have chosen attendance as a focus this year. This combined effort is an attempt to increase Roy High's graduation rate. In an effort to help our students with attendance we are implementing a new process of communicating with parents about attendance issues at Midland Elementary. We are asking for your support in securing the regular attendance of your student.
